Cops help in delivery of twins at palam railway station

The Police Control Room staff turned birthing specialists for a pregnant lady on Saturday as they helped convey a youngster inside the police van. In any case, the lady was pregnant with twins and conveyed the second kid at a healing facility later.

The 35-year-old and her little girls are healthy. The police have chosen to compensate the three PCR work force, including a lady, for their snappy reaction.

"The lady was on Platform number one of Palam railway station when she she went into labour. Seeing her crying at the stage, somebody rang the PCR," said a senior cop.

"A PCR van, involving ASI Rajbir, constable Bhagwati and constable Dharmbir, came to the spot in five minutes. They put her on a stretcher and hurried her inside the PCR van," said the officer.

Since none of her relatives were discovered close-by, the PCR staff chose to handle the circumstance themselves.
